We are the Cleftomaniacs |
The Cleftomaniacs is a Sydney-based all-female a cappella group.
We are best known for beautiful harmonies and for the style and panache we bring to a wide range of music from the 60s, 70s and 80s through to today. Our members come from all over Sydney and all walks of life. You don't have to read music (though it helps) – but need to be able to sing in tune and willing to learn, practise and persevere. We perform regularly for fun: at community events, for charitable causes and at times for income to help sustain the group financially. We welcome new members. Check us out during one of our rehearsals if you're interested. We rehearse on Thursday nights from 7-9 pm. We follow school terms. If you wish to find out more, please click here. |
Available to perform... at weddings, parties, community events, private celebrations, charity fundraisers, anything!
Our clients have included city councils, the Sydney Harbour Foreshore Authority, shopping centres, aged care facilities, even the Ettamogah Pub! Contact us now to discuss how we can tailor a performance to your requirements. |

The Ivy Gig - Ivy - March 2024
The Cleftomaniacs greeted a sparkling parade of guests as they arrived to attend the annual fundraising Taldemande Family Dinner, hosted by Ivy. We sang a boppy repertoire of classics from the 60s and 70s that included favourites: Born this way; My Baby Just Cares For Me; Time after Time; True Colours; You Send me; The ‘Shoop Shoop’ song (It’s in His Kiss), most notably sung by Cher; Love of My Life (Queen); and the evergreen, Mr Sandman. |
